Magic mail mistake
The airspace seethed, fairies, pixies and elves fussed, rushed, carrying envelopes, packages and parcels. For the first time during the existence of the Magic Mail, the unheard of happened. The courier made the wrong address!
The culprit named Tamm sat sadly in the corner. The striped wings drooped, the cheeks turned pale, the gray eyes turned red from tears. Everyone considered it their duty to express dissatisfaction with him:
“An elf who doesn’t check the delivery address is a shame for everyone...”
“Thousands of years of work without a single overlay, and we have suddenly such turmoil!”
“How can one confuse Norfolk County with an American city? Even though the names are the same, this is unthinkable!”
“It would be better to get busy than sigh! We'll have to check all of yesterday's parcels, some extra hands would be nice!”
The main fairy Tempesta was angry. Postal workers always perform their duties clearly and correctly, otherwise there will be a mess. Each dream was intended for a specific person with a specific purpose: to inspire, to give an idea, to make a development. Mistakes are not allowed. What one needs may cause irreparable harm to another.
Having dealt with the resulting chaos, the Magic Postmen went about their routine work. Tempesta called Tamm and said sternly:
“You’re lucky that no other recipients were hurt because of your mistake. Although the order of departure was confused, it only affected two people whose dreams you mixed up. We were late and failed to recall their parcels. So let's look together what your carelessness has led to. Let this serve as a lesson to you”.
Jessie Jones, a ten-year-old English girl, was supposed to have a dream about ponies playing. Fascinated by their beauty, she becomes interested in horses and begins to study diligently in order to eventually become a veterinarian and treat these wonderful creatures.
Jesse Jones, a young American, could not choose a university course. His parents insisted that he should become a lawyer, and he himself was drawn to flowers and trees, he wanted to help plants, but did not know how best to achieve this. Having seen a dream about a dying forest, he will understand that thanks to his knowledge of the laws he will be able to achieve more. So he will study law, one day he will become a senator and approve several regulations to improve the environment and protect forests.
The girl was frightened by the terrible picture of destruction of the forest. Her sobs woke up her mother. To distract her daughter, the mother promised to take her for a walk. In the park, young Jessie saw a horse and realized that she wanted to connect her life with horses.
The similar situation occurred with Jesse Jones from America. The colorful ponies reminded him of how many beautiful species had been destroyed as a result of mankind's actions, and his motivation to become a lawyer increased.
“In both cases, the effect of someone else’s dream turned out to be more powerful,” Tempesta stated in amazement. “Well, Tamm, this time everything ended successfully. But don’t make such mistakes in the future. Not everything always happens for the better, even at the Magic Mail Office”.
