Daisy at the crossroads
Is it possible to choose both ways instead of only one?
Daisy goes to school and tries to learn about herself step by step. At first she is sure that she is in love with a classmate named Morgan. But why is she increasingly drawn to her classmate Camilla? Is it possible to love a girl and a guy at the same time? And how do you understand who you want to be with if you have no relationship experience? It is a story about a bisexual teenager in a Baltic countries in the 2000s. Do I know at least one example of a happy same gender couple? Do I even know at least one same gender couple in my circle? I think about it and understand that, in principle, I don't know a single person with a nontraditional orientation. Surely they exist, but they do not advertise their preferences. They hide and pose as heterosexuals. Will I be able to accept the fact that I am a lesbian? To be different from everyone else, to catch judgmental and perplexed glances. Perhaps I will become an outcast. No, I don't agree to become a lesbian. My parents and society will not accept me. But do I have a choice? Although I am not a lesbian if I like guys too. So am I bisexual? So, I have hope that one day I will meet a guy and marry him. But what will happen to the other side of my personality? Will I always sigh at the sight of a beautiful girl? And can I even find happiness with a guy? What should I do? And who am I? I simply must understand who I really am. Can I call myself an ordinary girl? Or can I still be attracted to both sexes? Am I really bisexual? This word is scary to say even to yourself. But I won't be able to run away from myself. Therefore, my first and most important task is to make friends with myself and understand who I am, accept it and live on without hiding from myself.
